"Clear pricing and no billing surprises"
I’ll be honest, I kind of assumed there’d be some catch somewhere, like a random fee showing up later or the subscription not feeling worth it after the fact. But that didn’t happen. The pricing was clear to me from the start, billing went through just fine, and there were no surprise charges. For what I got, the subscription felt worth it, which I really appreciated.

"Feels like the screener isn’t what I expected"
I’ve been using the screener lately and it feels clunky. The scanner seems to miss things I’d expect it to catch, and the filters are more confusing than they should be. I came in thinking it would make finding stuff easier, so I feel a little misled by how it actually works

"Reliable charts with "almost no lag""
I’ve been using TradingView for a while now, it’s been solid. The charts load quickly, my alerts usually show up when they’re supposed to, and I don’t really deal with those random freezes I’ve had on other platforms. For checking the markets every day, it’s been a "reliable" tool for me.

"Helpful tutorials but kind of scattered"
tradingview has some useful learning material for charts and indicators. A few tutorials actually helped me understand the basics better. It does feel a little all over the place though and some beginner stuff could be explained in a simpler way. Good overall but I would not say it is amazing if you are starting from zero.

I’ve used a few charting platforms over the years, and TradingView has been one of the better ones for actually sharing ideas. I mostly use it to post my charts and thoughts, and it’s nice that other traders actually see and interact with them. The tools are easy to work with, and getting comments or followers makes it feel more worthwhile. It’s not perfect every single time, but if you’re creating and sharing market ideas, it feels active and genuinely useful.

"I use TradingView on my phone most..."
I use TradingView on my phone most of the time now, the app feels really complete. The charts, indicators, alerts, watchlists, and drawing tools are all there, and it does not feel like some stripped down version.

Every now and then it takes me a minute to find a setting, but once you get used to the layout, it is easy. I can check the markets, tweak my charts, and manage alerts from wherever I am. 5 stars from me

"Really good for Pine Script testing"
I mostly use TradingView for Pine Script, and it’s been good, like really good. The editor is easy to work with, alerts do what I need, and testing ideas right on the charts is quick quick. I still mess up my code sometimes, of course, but the platform makes it easy to fix things and try again without much hassle

"Great for ideas, but you still have to filter a lot"
I mostly use tradingview to see what other traders are thinking and to read through the comments. There’s usually someone posting a chart or breaking down why they expect a move, and that’s been helpful for comparing with my own outlook. That said, not every idea is useful or accurate, and sometimes there’s a lot of noise to sort through. Still, the community does make it easier to stay engaged and pick up new perspectives...

"Charts are solid, but the lists are frustrating"
I like using TradingView for checking charts and keeping an eye on stocks, but I’m a bit disappointed with how messy my watchlists and portfolio can get. It feels more cluttered than it should, and moving things around isn’t as simple as I’d hoped. It’s not a bad app, but better sorting and organization would make a big difference.

The layouts have definitely helped me keep my workspace under control, or at least I think they have. They make it easier to jump between things without feeling totally scattered. That said, I’m still not completely sure I understand how the folders are supposed to work, and I find myself getting a little confused by them sometimes

"Good platform, but moderation can feel a little uneven"
I use tradingview mostly for checking charts and reading other traders’ ideas, and overall I actually think it’s a solid platform. The rules do help keep a lot of spam and low-effort stuff off the site, which makes the community easier to browse.

The main thing that bugs me is the moderation can feel inconsistent at times. I’ve seen one post get removed while another very similar one stays up, so it’s not always obvious what the issue was or where the line is.

That said, I still think the policies are mostly fair, and the site is better because they exist. I just wish the decisions came with a little more explanation, actually, so users could understand what to do differently next time.

TradingView works well for me most of the time, and I do appreciate that they take account security seriously. protecting people’s accounts is the responsible thing to do, especially when money and trading are involved. That said, logging in can get annoying. Sometimes it feels like I’m being asked to verify myself over and over, or I end up locked out right when I just want to quickly check a chart. I’d rather have a safe account than a careless system, but I do think they could make the process a little smoother and less frustrating.

"Good charts, but not perfect"
i mean, TradingView is solid overall. I use the charts and indicators almost every day, and the drawing tools are simple enough to figure out without much hassle. That said, it can feel a little slow sometimes, the alerts aren’t always super reliable, and the free plan is definitely limited. Still a good platform, just has a few things that could be better.

"Alerts have been kinda spotty"
Lately the alerts haven’t been super reliable for me. Sometimes they come in late, and other times I don’t see anything at all. The app notifications are kind of hit or miss, which is frustrating when trades are moving fast and you’re waiting on that.

"Backtesting leaves me a bit underwhelmed"
I do like TradingView a lot for charting, and on a good day it feels super smooth to use. But the strategy backtesting puts me in a bit of a grumpy mood sometimes. The results can look really promising at first, then after poking around a little more, I start noticing how limited the settings are and how easy it is to end up with numbers that feel way too optimistic.

The fills also don’t always feel realistic to me, especially on lower timeframes, which gets annoying fast when you’re trying to take the results seriously. It’s fine when I’m just messing around with a quick idea, but if I’m in a serious testing mindset, it doesn’t quite give me enough confidence.

"Great charts, but the data issues are frustrating"
I use tradingview almost every day, and I do really like the charts, but the market data can be hit or miss. Sometimes the prices don’t line up with my broker, and a few smaller stocks or markets are either missing or delayed. when you’re trying to make a quick trade and the numbers are off, it’s kind of a “what a joke” moment. It’s fine for general checking and watching trends, but I wouldn’t rely on it if you need exact info every time.

"Pretty solid for my daily trading"
I use TradingView through my broker, i’m happy with it. I’m a bit biased because I already like TradingView’s layout and charts, but the broker connection has been smooth for the most part. Orders usually go through quickly, and getting everything set up wasn’t difficult. I’ve had a couple of minor sync hiccups here and there, but nothing that really messed with my trading. For everyday use, it does what I need.
